To practice creating a horror film, we made a remake of the hallway scene from the cult horror film "The Shining". This helped to give us a strong idea of what camera angles, filming techniques and editing techniques we should use when it comes to creating our horror opening. While editing the film, we found the sound to be a problem due to classes running, and students making noise in the background. To combat this, we dubbed the original soundtrack from the hallway scene over our version and synced the voises to make it seem diegetic. If we were to film this again, we feel we could've used better colourcorrection in order to achieve a better film look.
