We have decided to film during the day and use editing techniques to make it appear the scene is set at night. We will be using the compositing software, after effects to turn day to night. This will save us from filming on a cold January night. We felt there where too many health and safety issues when filming at night in the middle of nowhere.
To help us turn day to night we found a tutorial on the internet. The effects artist, Andrew Kramer, who teachers people how to use after effects, has a tutorial website in witch we found a guide on how to do this.
